GET TO KNOW ME
Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time
Ever since I was young, the career path of my dreams involved health, healing and wellness, and I knew my goal was to make sure it took the entire person into account holistically and made a positive difference in their lives and wellbeing.
This interest led me to study Kinesiology, Health, and Fitness and even chiropractic for a year until I realized it just wasn't a perfect fit. Thinking I wanted to get into medicine, I worked in the Hospital Emergency and Cardiopulmonary Departments as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist and technologist until I started a family. Wanting to raise my children and be home with them during their most formative years, I continued to work casually, and eventually began volunteering at their elementary school, which led me to a job supply teaching, and working with Behavioral and Special Needs Students. As much as I enjoyed this, I knew teaching was not my true calling either, because I noticed that I was especially intrigued by each student and their individual story, more than the teaching profession itself. So, I eventually found my way into studying Spiritual Psychotherapy and becoming a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
Along this Spiritual Psychotherapy journey, I have also studied and trained in Hypnotherapy and Neuro-linguistic Programming, Coaching, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Energetic Healing, Meditation, and Yoga, and also continue to teach dance fitness classes, mindful movement, and practice as a Registered Kinesiologist.
My interest, knowledge, and experience in all of these domains, along with my strong belief in holistic health and wellness is what drives me to stay committed to the complete well-being of all my patients and go above and beyond to cater to their individual needs, guiding them from surviving to thriving, as naturally as possible.
I truly care for all of my clients, and work diligently to help guide them into finding the answers they seek. Since 2018, I have worked with a variety of patients dealing with circumstances that are unique to their lives. I use all the tools at my disposal and believe that true healing involves reconnecting with ourselves at all levels of our being. Through our coming back into our own awareness and wholeness, with the coherence and integration of the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, psychological, and energetic parts of ourselves, I truly believe we can find our true innate joy, peace, and healing.
Let me be your guide on this incredible journey. It is not the destination, but what happens along the way that produces the most valuable lessons.
